American GE Planned to Broaden Cooperation with Wuhan
American GE Company intended to procure more mechanical and electrical products in Wuhan and increase investment. Andy, President of GE infrastructure of China consulted with Wuhan government on the 12th, planning to sign a MOU on strategic cooperation to deepen the cooperation between both parties. This memo includes: broadening cooperation and exchange on infrastructure construction such as environment protection and public transportation (urban subways and rail transport); GE extending its purchasing scope to surrounding areas of Wuhan for mechanical and electrical products to speed up the development of Wuhan equipment manufacturing; GE seeking appropriate programs in preferable industry in Wuhan for investment; Wuhan government providing support and service on such aspects as sales, purchasing and other cooperation for GE in the aspects of government functions.
