Canadian Branch of Home Depot Entering Chinese Home Decoration Market
Canadian Branch of Home Depot, whose headquarters is located in Atlanta, purchased 12 shops of Home Way in six cities of China with USD100m, and entered into the Chinese home decoration market with the whole market value up to USD50b annually. The president of Canadian Branch of Home Depot indicated that the annual revenue of its company was USD5.5b, but due to the declining of real estate market in America, they had to look for other business opportunities. She said the Chinese home decoration market was the biggest global market with the fastest development as well as establishment of millions of homes with purchases of furniture and electrical appliance, and the estimated business volume each year would be around USD15b to USD50b.
