Headquarters of Chinese Biggest Private Logistics Company SITC Group Settled in Shanghai
Recently, headquarters of SITC Group, the Chinese biggest private logistics company, was settled in Shanghai. It was known that this logistics enterprise was jointly constructed by a logistics company under Shangdong SITC Group and New Times International Transport Service Co., Ltd. and would kick off the overall international logistics business on Jan.1st, 2007. SITC Group has 16 distribution centers in major cities of China, serving 248 domestic cities. It was expected that the airfreight volume of 2007 would exceed 110,000 tons, 80% more than 60,000 tons in 2006; ocean freight volume would also increase from 180,000 standard containers to over 210,000 containers.
