More Chinese-invested Enterprises Got Listed in Singapore Stock Exchange with Good Performance

This year, more and more Chinese enterprises got listed on Singapore Stock Exchange with even increasing scale and most of the listed Chinese-invested enterprises in Singapore performed well. There are over 700 listed companies in Singapore Stock Exchange, among which 250 are foreign enterprises and 120 are from China. The total capitalization of listed Chinese-invested companies exceeds SGD28b (SGD=0.65 USD), accounting for 5.5% of the total capitalization in Singapore, increased by 8% compared with that of 2005. The total fund financed exceeds SGD3b. Currently the Chinese shares account for around 15% of the daily stock transaction volume in Singapore Stock Exchange. Until Dec.20th, there were 58 foreign enterprises that got listed on Singapore Stock Exchange, among which 25 are from Mainland China with fund financed over SGD1.47b.
