World Third Seed Company Syngenta Entering Hainan
As reported, the first foreign breed of watermelon introduced by Hainan Province—dark green seedless watermelon “Muo Tong” has formally settled in Hainan.It has known that the headquarters of Syngenta, the “Muo Tong” research and development company, is in Switzerland, which is one of the world biggest agricultural technology companies and the third seed company. “Muo Tong” has been introduced to America and South Korea and starts to be introduced in Zhejiang, Hainan, etc. this year. This breed has aroused a wide attention on the exhibition of the 4th China International Agricultural Product Trade Affair held this year.
