According to Australia's "Financial Review",China's car sales in 2006 reached 7.28 million units, making China the world's second largest car market next to the US.According to the statistics of China Automobile Manufacturing Association, sales of passenger cars and commercial cars grew 27% last year in China to reach 7.28 million units, 5.72 million units more than Japan, and only less than the US sales of 16.6 million units, occupying the second place in the world's car market.The report said over the past five years, China's car sales have increased by 200%, and this year it is expected to grow another 15%. Analysts of China's automobile industry remarked that China's rapid economic growth has been a tremendous driving force for the development of the mobile industry. It is just a matter of time for China to become the world's biggest car market.
