Until the end of last year, American FedEx has covered 220 cities in China and they plan to add 100 more in the next four to five years; American UPS has got six direct flights to Beijing and Shanghai, and has set up over 20 representative offices in such cities as Shenzhen, Qingdao, Xiamen, etc; Netherlands TNT service has covered more than 200 cities with network stores exceed 2000 and made China the second global market only after Europe; German DHL has covered 318 cities and set up 50 branches. Looking at the "network layout" of international famous logistics companies, the professional pointed out that with the complete opening up of Chinese logistics in 2005, a large amount of foreign capital flowed into logistics industry during the last year, which made logistics industry a new hot spot of foreign investment in China right after the real estate and RMB business.
