German BASF Group Acquired Chinese Concrete Admixtures Chemical Company
News from the BASF Group website, recently BASF Chemical (Sichuan) Ltd. (with total investment of USD14m), a wholly owned subsidiary company of German BASF Group acquired the assets of Sichuan Pengshan Hi Con Concrete Admixtures Ltd. This acquisition helps BASF Group reinforce its power in the construction chemical market of West China and become leader in Chinese concrete admixtures chemical market. BASF is the world biggest construction chemical producer with construction chemical businesses run in 75 countries and production bases or sales office established in 14 countries in Asian Pacific Area. This project originally belonged to Degussa Group and was acquired by BASF Group in July 2006.
