Trade Between China and Brunei Kept Growing

According to the statistics from China Customs, there is a positive growth tendency on bilateral trade between China and Brunei in 2006, in which the bilateral trade volume from Jan. to Nov. is USD310m, up 19.6% year-on-year, exceeding the total volume in 2005. Among this volume USD90m was exported from China to Brunei, increased by 88.9% year-on-year, and USD220m was exported from Brunei to China, increased by 3.6%. The exported products from China to Brunei include finished goods, chemical products, daily commodity, machinery and transport equipment, food, etc. The main imported product from Brunei to China is still oil.
