Xiushan mountain
In recent days, 61 plaques and couplets were discovered at Mt.Xiushan in Tonghai County. Up to now, the total number of the plaques and couplets of Mt.Xiushan has reached 361. Mt. Xiushan is a famous mountain which combines Buddhism with Confucianism and Taoism. Moreover, Mt. Xiushan enjoys the reputation of “The First Beauty in Central Yunnan”. There are ancient buildings built in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. While the plaques and couplets of different dynasties make the ancient buildings more charming. At present, the Tourism Administration of Tonghai County has funded to repair the precious plaques and couplets. The repaired plaques and couplets will be displayed during the China’s National Day Holiday.
