The first mobile phone base in Northeast China settles in Shenyang
Recently TechFaith Wireless Technology Co.Ltd. signed the agreement for the project of TechFaith Science & Technology Park with an investment of close to 100 million yuan in Shenbei New District of Shenyang. TechFaith is one of the world's largest wireless application software and handset design providers, and is also one of the largest handset software and solution providers. TechFaith Science & Technology Park invested by TechFaith Wireless Technology in Shenbei New District occupies an area of 600 mus combining mobile phone production, research and development, logistics distribution and supporting facilities for residential buildings. Phase I investment of the Science & Technology Park is 170 million yuan for building five mobile phone production lines. Annual production output is estimated at 4 billion yuan, and output in 2008 is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan.
