Cooperation Between GTZ and China to Continue

Report from SEQUA website, since 2000 German Technical Cooperation along with SEQUA (consisting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Wholesalers and Foreign Traders) have jointly invested in the project for promoting medium and small sized Chinese enterprises. The purpose of this project funded by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is to improve the cooperation between the state institutions and the private economic activities as well as to facilitate the new local development mode with focus on Anhui Province.
The actual promotion work will be realized by the end of 2007. In other word, SEQUA will be responsible for part of the project implementation as well as developing an organization of association. Supports will be given in material required for developing plans and improving services for the selected association and in the cooperation with the competent government authorities. In addition, the partner will be promoted in developing a local development strategy and cooperating with foreign enterprises, especially with German enterprises.
