Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Iran in 2007 Will Amount to USD20 Billion

According to the Iranian Daily, Safari, Iran's deputy foreign minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs, noted when meeting China’s assistant foreign minister Zhai Jun that economic and trade cooperation between China and Iran in 2007 will amount to USD20 billion.
Safari said that in 2006 bilateral economic and trade between the two countries was USD14 billion, and is expected to reach USD20 billion in 2007. The two countries’ cooperation in political, economic and trade fields has positive impact and is growing continuously. The meeting between the heads of the two states during the Conference of Shanghai Cooperation Organization is constructive. The 13th Conference of Sino-Iran Mixed Commission of Economy, Trade, Science and Technology will be held in Teheran in Iran.
