Taiwan enterprise invests in Harbin New Linen Factory
Recently Harbin New Linen Factory invested by Taiwan Encore Investment Company completed construction, and the reorganized Harbin Line Co., Ltd. was established on the same day. Harbin New Linen Factory used to be Harbin Linen Textile Factory, which was one of the 156 projects built with the assistance of the former Soviet Union and the world's biggest linen textile enterprise. The New Linen Factory occupies an area of 450,000 square meters, and construction area of Phase I is 150,000 square meters. Harbin New Linen Factory can annually produce 5500 tons of hair cords and12 million meters of linen material, and can bleach and dye 20 million meters of linen material. It creates employment for 6000 people (include the 4000 workers of the old factory), and is currently the biggest linen processing enterprise with the most advanced technology in China, which can be called the linen magnate in Asia.Taiwan Encore Investment Company has invested over 3 billion yuan in the mainland over the past decade. Its companies in the industries of finance, chemicals, real estate, science and technology have all made great achievements.
