On the 13th, US companies have signed four major contracts with Chinese companies here to further explore the Chinese market. US Commerce Secretary Gutierrez, who is visiting China for the First Sino-US Strategic Economic Dialogue, attended the signing ceremony.The four contracts include US’s Home Depot’s acquisition of The Home World that has 12 chain stores in China, Oshkosh Truck Corporation’s truck sales agreement with Zhejian Quzhou Airport; VeriSign’s cooperation agreement with China Net Communication; and Shanghai Airlines’ US$ 550 million purchase agreement with GE Aviation.Gutierrez said China is now US’s second biggest trading partner. US companies’ first class products and service can meet the requirements of China’s rapidly growing economy, while China’s demands can increase employment in the US.
