Japanese Fujitsu Set up Chief Representative in China

As reported, recently, Naoyuki Akikusa, CEO of Japanese Fujitsu, introduced on world telecom exhibition in HK that the company had started to implement a responsibility system of a chief representative in China this year. This post would be taken by a senior executive management responsible for business in China independently. This was the first time Fujitsu implemented the responsibility system of a chief representative and the previous business decisions had been made by the headquarters in Tokyo. In order to adapt itself to the new requirement of information times Fujitsu had set up four major areas globally in Europe, America, Asia and China. Naoyuki Akikusa said that the reason of setting up an operating area in China was the significance of Chinese market to Fujitsu and that China required a different operation approach. He indicated, the cooperation between Fujitsu and China went well and the business in China had been placed a high expectation.
