The first European enterprise that obtains direct sales license settles in Nanjing

Global cosmetics magnate Oriflame officially settled in Nanjing on January 11, marking the entry to China of the first European enterprise that has been granted direct sales license by China.
Oriflame was founded in the Sweden capital Stockholm in 1967. It is Europe's largest cosmetics enterprise, and also a co-founder of World Children's Fund. Sponsored by Swede's Royal Family, the fund is dedicated to helping poor children around the world. In 2006 Oriflame was granted direct sales license by Ministry of Commerce and became the first European enterprise obtaining direct sales license in China. It is said that Oriflame sells products to 58 countries with an annual sales revenue exceeding 1 billion US dollars. Except for conducting direct sales in Jiangsu, Oriflame has also built an international green production base in the province occupying an area of 44,000 square meters.
