Wuhan NEC increases US$140 million of investment
Recently Wuhan NEC Mobile Communication Co.Ltd. once again lodged application for extra investment, planning to increase its total investment from 294 million US dollars to 434 million US dollars, and its registered capital from 248 million US dollars to 388 million US dollars. The extra investment of 140 million US dollars in registered capital is jointly made by NEC and NEC (China) Co.Ltd. with 126 million US dollars and 14 million US dollars respectively. This is another major extra investment made by NEC Wuhan after it increased investment of 225 million US dollars early 2006, mainly for the preparation of the imminent development projects of 3G mobile phone.
